Miss Kirstin
Miss Kirstin began her Early Childhood career in 2014, completing her Certificate III through a traineeship before progressing to earn her Diploma qualification. Over the years, she has continuously expanded her knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities, including training in Safe Food Handling, Key Word Sign, Behaviour Management, ADHD, and STEM education.
A proud Hawkesbury local, Miss Kirstin is the mother of two children, one of whom has ASD and ADHD, giving her valuable personal insight into supporting diverse learning needs. Before starting her family, she was actively involved in softball, playing, coaching, and scoring at elite levels. Today, she enjoys reconnecting with the sport through her son and watching his passion for the game grow.
Miss Kirstin’s greatest strengths lie in programming and inclusion. She loves supporting children to develop independence, make choices, and explore their world with confidence and curiosity. Watching young minds learn, problem-solve, and grow each day is one of the most rewarding aspects of her role.
Since joining the Little Sparkles family, Miss Kirstin has become a valued mentor and support for her colleagues, sharing her extensive experience and knowledge. She has also successfully developed and implemented several key initiatives, including the Jottings Wall and Bush Kinder excursions, which have enriched children’s learning experiences and strengthened connections with the local community.
